We register AM and PM plus all lessons throughout the day (total 12). When our office staff use Period View within Registration Manager to follow up on Registers, every single session is selected by default and they have to click each one to close it, and leave the relevant one open. Quite time consuming and frustrating.
The only way to stop this is to give them complete access to the module, which we don't want to do. It would be really helpful if all registration sessions were automatically NOT open when going into the module, rather than having them all open, we only want to check through one at a time!
I think that this already exists: at the head of Period View, on the third row of the header, is a series of buttons representing the registration slots for the day: these can be clicked to show/remove the registrations shown in the list below to just those that you want to see. Registration Manager should remember those button settings the next time the user opens the view. This works for users without 'full' rights to the module.
